Who Are Your Reflectors?

We all need people who champion us.

The ones who stand beside us, who believe in us, who remind us of who we are when we forget. Those people are immeasurably important — and I’m grateful for them every day.

But today I want to plant a different seed.

Who are the people who truly reflect you?

Who are the ones who will challenge you… question you… even argue with you — not to prove you wrong, but to help you see more clearly?

It’s easy to gather support when we have a strong opinion or when something hard happens. We can rally our people, hear “you’re totally right,” and feel validated. And there’s comfort in that.

But there’s a smaller circle — sometimes very small — of people who act as mirrors.

They help you dig deeper.
They help you check your story.
They help you feel what’s actually true in your gut.

Not to take your side.
Not to oppose you.
But to help you know yourself.

Those are powerful relationships.

So today I ask you —

Who are your reflectors?
Who are your mirrors?

I’d love to hear from you.

“May you have the courage to welcome the mirrors that help you see clearly.”
