“Your Inner State is Reflected in Your Breath Patterns” — DAnny White
Yoga Therapy for Real Life
Individualized practices. Practical tools. Greater awareness, regulation, and choice.
Danny White Yoga Therapy Services provides Yoga Therapy programs for treatment centers, schools, organizations, groups, and individuals.
We use movement, breath, sensory awareness, meditation, sound, and reflection to help people better understand what they are experiencing and discover practices that support how they want to live.
Begin With What Is Happening Now
We do not begin with a preset sequence or assume that the same practice will work for everyone.
We begin by recognizing what is present. We observe how the body, breath, senses, thoughts, emotions, environment, and life experience may be interacting. From there, we develop practices that meet the needs of the person or group in front of us.
The progression is simple:
Awareness. Regulation. Agency.
When people can recognize what they are experiencing, they have a greater opportunity to respond with intention rather than react automatically.
Yoga Therapy Services
Residential and Treatment Programs
Recurring Yoga Therapy groups, individualized practices, program development, and staff support for residential, inpatient, outpatient, and recovery settings. Practices are accessible, repeatable, and designed to give clients tools they can carry into everyday life.
Individual Yoga Therapy
One-to-one Yoga Therapy begins with your needs, history, capacities, and goals. Together, we develop a personalized practice using movement, breath, meditation, sensory awareness, reflection, sound, and lifestyle support. No flexibility or previous yoga experience is required.
Schools and Educators
Classroom regulation practices, professional development, individualized consultation, and student support connecting body, breath, senses, movement, mind, and emotion. Students and educators learn practical ways to recognize their state, regulate when needed, and choose more intentionally.
Groups, Staff, and Organizations
Custom workshops, staff regulation practices, group Yoga Therapy, sound experiences, and wellness programming. Programs can be created as a single experience, an ongoing series, or part of a larger culture of sustainable care.
What Is Yoga Therapy?
More Than a Yoga Class
A general yoga class usually begins with a planned practice and invites the group to participate. Yoga Therapy begins with the person or population being served.
We assess what is happening, clarify what support is needed, and select practices for the individual’s or group’s present condition, capacity, environment, and goals. These practices may include movement, breath, sensory awareness, meditation, sound, visualization, self-inquiry, and practical lifestyle tools.
Yoga Therapy can complement medical, mental-health, educational, and wellness care. It does not replace treatment from an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.
The DWYTS Approach
Awareness Leads to Choice
Before we can meaningfully change something, we need to recognize what is actually happening.
Through ROAR—Recognize, Observe, Assess, Respond—we help people and groups:
• Recognize their present state
• Observe the body, breath, senses, thoughts, and emotions without immediate judgment
• Assess patterns, possible precursors, and what support may be helpful
• Respond with practices that support regulation and intentional choice
The goal is not to perform yoga perfectly. The goal is to know yourself more clearly and develop practices that help you participate more fully in your life.
Practical, Personal, and Collaborative
Our programs are adapted to the people, environment, culture, and purpose of each setting. We work alongside clinicians, educators, staff members, caregivers, families, and other professionals so that practices can become part of daily life—not something that happens only during a scheduled session.
Why DWYTS?
Experience Grounded in Practice
Danny White, C-IAYT, has spent more than fifteen years studying and teaching breath, movement, meditation, mindfulness, sound, and the practical application of yoga philosophy.
His work is informed by lived experience, long-term personal practice, and years of helping people explore the relationship between their inner state and how they breathe, move, feel, think, and respond.
DWYTS brings that experience into treatment programs, schools, organizations, groups, and individual sessions with curiosity, compassion, humor, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
Our practices are individualized, accessible, and designed to be used in real life—not only during a scheduled session.
Our Practitioner Team
DWYTS collaborates with experienced independent practitioners whose services can support the needs of individuals, groups, and organizations. Together, we can create programming that draws from Yoga Therapy, sound, functional neurology, and other complementary approaches.
